  I like Kurai 4 opinions  Ayashi:
Kurai was one of my favorites right from the beginning. I like her a little less now, but
only because she hasn't had much character development in a while. I like Kurai and admire
her strength and courage, even if she does do stupid things sometimes, and I think she's an
interesting character. Anyway, you have to expect her to do those "stupid things".
She's just a kid ^^ Arsenothelys:
Kurai shows up right away in the first volume, to pester Setsuna about his anglehood. I rather liked
her, but only later on did she become a favourite. In the first few volumes, she and Arakune show up
mostly for comic relief - just think of their first encounter - but she she recalled the offensive of
the angels on the Anagura, she stole my heart as a tragic character. Over the course of the serise,
she gets fleshed out even more, and I really identified with her agonizing over Setsuna's love. BrainDamage:
Now you got me started. Kurai is my absolute favourite character form AS, the only one I'm really
obsessed with...no, not obsessed... I just... like her from all of theme... she's the special character
for me. She has a unique personality, she's boyish and sometimes represents the comic figure. But, in
the same time, under that boyish and rough mask of hers hides a young girl which possesses a strong-will
and determination and has a sense of love just like any other girl. Personally, I regret Kurai didn't
end up with Setsuna, because she really loved him, and that showed in the stuff she did for him (I'm not
telling... big spoilers if I'm gonna say... humor me). I never looked at Kurai like she was a lame or
she was just a kid. I never judge people (demons) by the way they look or sometimes act. She's pretty
darn brave for a girl her age and absolutely perfect for the role of Queen of Gehenna. Still... I think
of her more like a tragic figure. Why? She lost her family and loved Setsuna which didn't return her love,
she experienced lots of hits in her life and still she stood strong. I mostly like her boyish personality.
Why? Heh... in a way she's like me... but despite what she's gone through she still has time for jokes.
Main reason why I like Kurai? Dunno. She's just plain and simple... Kurai... Madame Betterfly:
I like her, because she is just like me, absolultly like me: the way she loves, the way she tries to
be stronger then anyone else, the way she acts so comical and the way she looks and acts like a boy.
And it was very strage for me to see how this charakter is really like, how she developes herself.
But I think she must try to forget about Setsuna, no matter how hard it is, and grab Mad Hatter.
